These terms cover your use of this website and set out the basis on which Lets Build Somethings Great takes on work. Engagement-specific terms are agreed in writing before a project starts; where those conflict with this page, the signed agreement wins.

Using this site

The content here — copy, code samples, layout, and imagery we created — belongs to Lets Build Somethings Great. You are welcome to read it, share links to it, and quote it with attribution. Do not republish it wholesale as your own.

No warranty on published content

Articles and technical descriptions on this site are provided as-is for information. Performance figures cited describe past engagements under their own conditions and are not a promise of the same outcome for a different system.

Engagements

Scope. Every project begins with an agreed scope, timeline, and price. Work outside that scope is quoted separately before it starts.

Payment. Monthly engagements are billed in advance and can be paused or cancelled before the next cycle. Fixed-scope projects are billed against milestones agreed at the outset.

Ownership. On final payment, you own the intellectual property in the deliverables we build for you. We retain ownership of pre-existing tools and general know-how, and we may describe the work in general terms as a case study unless you ask us not to.

Confidentiality. Anything you share with us in the course of an engagement stays confidential, and we will sign your NDA if you have one.

Liability

We do our work carefully and stand behind it, but our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
